Do you think that Camaro will be "just" a Camaro w/i a year or still the "hot" car??

I've been thinking about the whole Camaro craze since its inception. Great marketing--lots of hype and buzz. Its one of the top 5 hardest cars to get, and as such right now that makes it even more desireable.

However, its not a limited build, they're pushing out as much as they can. The streets are going to be filled with Camaros with the way things are going...both 6 and 8's. The cars are not going to be "collectibles" in the sense that they're not special editions or anything.

So compared to other cars on the market that have a name applied to them and a more limited build number (Shelby GT500 for example)--do you think that this car will still be as desired and hard to get in months to come? Or like all the million of regular Mustang's on the road do you think it will be "just another Camaro"?

I think it will cool off a bit. I've been thinking about that recently because I hardly saw any Camaros in the wild for a long time. Since I got my car I usually see at the very least a few a week. That being said it will always be a HOT car!!

It won't be as new, so it will cool off, but if people love the looks now, they'll still love them in a year. Plus, right now, aside from car shows i've only seen 3 on the road. Actually they were all parked.

The 'rockstar' status will likely be all but gone within a year, but it will still be a 'hot car'...much like the previous generations of Camaro's were. So, you won't see people breaking there necks to look at one or wanted to talk about them all the time, but they'll still be damn nice cars.

I have had mine since 5/19 and I have only seen 1 on the road so far near me at night, on the roads I travel daily, and I am always looking, because I want to be able to see just how "BAD A**" this car looks driving down the highway............

I guess that's why I still get MASSIVE ATTENTION every where I go, unless, it's ME they're waving and honking and giving a "thumbs up" to...LOL...

j/k, I know it's the Camaro that is the "HIGHWAY STAR", I'm just the "lucky sob drivin' it like I stole it"...

Hate to say it but this is very sad but true. GM is making tens of thousands of Camaro's. Soon they will be a common site all over the country. The Camaro SS will always be a cool car (its a Camaro SS). But when there's thousands of them everywhere it will be just "another" Camaro on the road.

Soon as I left my house, I saw a blue with white stripe Camaro SS. Then a little further up the road I saw an IOM SS parked in a parking lot at Publics (which a grocery store). Then on my very last turn before I got to work, I saw another blue SS parked at an exhaust shop (probably getting a new exhaust).

I live in the Fort Myers Fl. area.

I still get thumbs up and smiles from lots of people. I also get a lot of people wanting to look at my car (especially at gas stations), but the crazy WOW!!! factor has definately cooled off a bit in my area.
