What is a catch can used for?
Can someone explain what a catch can if for? Just wondering.

Mainly for purse fights on this forum. I use one and am pleased with the results, every 5K or so it has an ounce or two of oil and condensation in the reservoir that didn't end up in the intake so I'm pleased with it. YMMV

If you're not using an Elite catch can, then it doesn't really matter because all the others don't work.

It catches the oil and other things that buildup in the manifold.
Direct injected engines benefit from using one manufacturers don't use them for whatever reason. Port injection don't need one but it's up to the user. |
