Color Matched 1LE Hood?

I have a friend looking at a 1LE and he prefers the hood not be black. There is an option in the online configuration for the satin finish but it removes the entire 1LE package.

Anyone have experience? Is a dealership able to order the car without the black hood? Better off getting it painted after the fact?

I think you can just peel it off. It's just a wrap.

I owned mine maybe an hour before I peeled it off on a hot sunny day in August. I removed the hood liner and heat extractors, catch an edge and peel it off, took all of 30 min.

Comes off super easy. I removed it from my former SS 1LE in about 30 minutes. Fresh, clean, paint underneath.
