decent price for 18 2SS?

What do you guys think about this deal? Its a garnet 2SS auto with NAV, active exhaust, sunroof and LPO black wheels for sale at 41,875. It seems a little high and not sure if the wheels are worth 2k, but looks pretty cool from the outside and appears to have fairly dark tinted windows on the sides not listed on the window sticker. It does say it has 300 miles on it. MSRP is 49,265 so its right at the 15% off. It has everything I really wanted in options except for it has black interior and I wanted ceramic, but looks like I'm SOL on that unless I go with a low mileage 17 CPO.

If it’s not s 1LE then that sounds high. Pretty sure people are picking up 1LE’s for that price.

I don't really see 2018 2SS 1LE's under $44-45k. If this 2SS has MRC, the price they gave you is fair IMO (MRC is an awesome $1695 option that can't be retrofitted), although I'd be a bit concerned how it accumulated 300 miles if it's new, ie how badly it was abused. On the other hand, if it's used, how come someone unloaded it after only 300 miles, taking a gigantic hit on the trade.

The black wheels are just painted, certainly not worth $2k extra.

Oh, almost forgot the most important thing, since I have the same or nearly the same model: this is an absolutely amazing car

I guess I didn't specify, the 18 is new, just a lot of test drive miles. It doesn't have the MRC, only the options I listed. The wheels are the 20" 5-split spoke, low-gloss black listed for 1,995 on the Chevy website. The 17 CPO does have MRC and all the other options the other car has plus the ceramic interior and white hash mark side stripes. It has about 1745 miles on it. They are asking almost 38k for it, which is high. I'm betting both places would negotiate a little. Also have to think about my trade in value, which can vary place to place. btw, probably a stupid question, but you can't still order an 18 form the factory anymore, correct? Only asking because you can still build an 18 on the Chevy site.

That ship sailed long ago, Sir. I have no idea why the website allows a new 2018 build, perhaps just for comparison shopping between model years, but you cannot order a 2018 any longer.

What about using truecar? I used it for my mustang, but it didn't save me too much although I did get the 0% interest. For the camaro, its only showing about 2.5k off on the 19's and 4.5 for the 18's. For challengers, its around 5k for the new models.

If ya can swing 41,000, with a decent down payment, why not? My 2018 V6 has the 20 inch 5 spokes due to RS package then a 100 upcharge to paint black, on GM sticker.

Car could have been someone in Management too, used for a while. Get the Car Fax, dealer should supply to see if it was in an accident, trade.

I may have found the one guys! Its an red 18 2SS with black wheels and side decals, sunroof and most of the LPO appearance options listed over 10k off at just under 38k. About the only thing it doesn't have I wanted was the active exhaust and possibly MRC. I'll also have to confirm the color as it sure looks like garnet, but its listed as red hot in the description and window sticker.
