pledged for some 19x11 and 19x12 already $150 off!... 4 more people til it's $200 off!! Awesome.
Price is great considering that Forgestar (which is the cheapest forged wheel you can buy that I'm aware of) gets like $1800-2200 (depending on finish) for 19x11 and 19x12 and you have to wait for those as well. Told them I'd buy 18x11 and 18x12 whenever they offer those as well... They said it's a definitely possibility but no time soon.

I'm not a huge fan of the looks but am a function over fashion person anyway
So I put a deposit down on 19x10 square set up and appreciate the opportunity for the group buy discounting thanks any reason one couldn't run a 285/40/19? |

That tire is a little tall up front but could work as well. Tire options aren't that plentiful so we don't officially list it, but it's certainly an option. - Cory

Looks like a nice option. One thing I don't really like is that there would be a 5% error in the speedometer with the recommended 305/30-19 rear tire size (compared to the stock SS rear tires). 305/35-19 would be much closer to stock, but there's limited tire offerings in that size.
Apex, any additional thoughts on this topic? I'd like a size similar to the SS 1LE (overall diameter and width). Here's my calculations that compare Apex recommended sizes to the stock offerings. My comparisons all go back to the stock SS setup.

kinda wondering about this as well was told by someone I could run a 325/30-19 on an 11 rear on my ss but so far I havent seen anything to back it up.
I am tuned so i could just adjust to match the tire size difference from stock. Quote:

A couple members here have put 325/30 on the 11 inch.
No different than those that do 305 on a 10.5" or 325/30/20 on their 1LE.

Found 275/35/19 and 325/30/19s are super close in size (dia.) so that's what I might try and run Last edited by squish72; 04-20-2019 at 06:52 PM. |

There is a slight difference in speedo readings by going down to the 305/30-19 tire, but I feel it's worth the hassle due to the vast array of great tire options in that size. If there were more 295/35 or 305/35 offerings, I would be more willing to share that first. But sadly there aren't.

Also, over 5% speedometer error is a lot in my opinion! To put that in mileage terms, if you drive the car 100,000 miles, the odometer would have an extra 5,000+ miles on it. That would bother me enough to try to come up with a solution.

It's important to note that there are two versions of this tire, the S007 and the S007a. The "a" model is the sticky tire that people here should use.

Just checked on this today, 32 people pledged. Max discount achieved. All you people that were on the fence can now pledge with no fear of not getting the max discount.

That is good news. A successful group buy has potential to sway Apex into doing another with a different style.
I like the FL5.
