2020 Camaro Zl1 Magnuson 2650 swap only power

Hello
Curious to know how much hp can gain a 2020 camaro zl1 10 speed with only a Magnuson 2650 and cat back system like Corsa or Borla and tune of course.
100 more hp?
Callaway with just SC swap did 100 hp more....

Thanks for the answeres

The Z06s when they first tested were putting down a little over 700. So closer to 150 whp gain. It's probably good until the stock fuel limit honestly.

You'll start running out of fuel about 680whp, SAE not STD, and i wouldn't push it anymore then this as the HPFP pressure drops low as well as injector pulse width going high.

Seems like they average around 125-135rwhp for us. Our dyno reads a bit light be we usually end up near 700 with just the blower and just over if we add a intake and a couple of bolt ons.

Boost for boost you will likely not see any gain, the gain comes from more boost the new supercharger provides, when you are comparing blower only mods.

If your goal is 100-125 RWHP then no need to change the blower as you need these supporting mods before you do a larger blower.

This package is what I recommend you do before a blower upgrade no point putting more boost in when there is so much restriction in the current set up.

This package is what I run on my Personal ZL-1 and ZLE

Your still stuck with the stock LT4 blower which in my opinion can make decent power like you say, but your still stuck with a brick oven. Nothing you do is going to fix the heatsoak on these unless you start adding meth and a chiller. Just not worth it, which is why people choose to goto a 2650 with MUCH better cooling capacity right from the get go. Plus if you want upgrades in the future past 100rwhp your already set for the future.

Also remember e-85 is not available in most places. Closest by me i newark airport which is 40 miles away.

If you have E85 readily available then its a good upgrade.

I am not stuck with anything, The stock blower is very good at maintaining IAT and recovery is very good as well, providing 2 things.

I race my car on the road coarse which is the most grueling and I come off the track with as much power as I entered the track even after 30 minutes of track time.

Proper bleeding, and do not spin it any faster.

Without touching a pulley I found 125 RWHP the also improved IAT via restriction reduction.

POWER THROUGH EFFICIENCY.

I love the 2650 and use it in many builds but I reserve if for builds which will actaully take advantage of its ability.

My super street brawler starts with our 125 package, adds a cam and 2650 for 840 RWHP on pump gas.

Ted.

We make 840 on 93 octane with the superstreet brawler

My 125 package makes 620 on pump gas.

The question by the OP was what will the blower do over the stock blower and the answer is nothing unless it is set up to move more air via more boost.

Yes 840 is typical across most vendors with a 2650, supporting mods and a cam. There still is no comparision to the cooling on the stock lt4 compared to the 2650. LB for LB you'll make more on the magnuson with much lower IAT/MAT's which is my entire point.

This is where we disagree.

Set the 2650 at the same boost level as stock blower and you will not see any gains due to cooling or otherwise.

In fact you may see a deficit due to shear size and weight and HP to turn the larger rotors.

Now at higher boost levels I could not agree more!
