Changing wheels and alignment?
Greetings, all.
I feel monumentally stupid for asking this, but I'd like to know. I have three sets of wheels/tires for my 1LE. All different. OEM - 20x10"F 20x11"R AutoX - 19x10.5"F 19x11"R Track - 19x11"F 19x12"R They all have different offsets. My question is this: When I get an alignment done (Track settings) do the specs then change depending on which set of wheels I have on the car? If I set -2.2F with the 20"'s on, does that change when I swap on the 19"s? How about toe? Thanks in advance.

Not a stupid question. Your caster, camber, and toe will not change with different wheel/tire dimensions. So the things you set stay the same.
Some geometry changes happen, but they are not parameters that get set with alignment adjustments. For instance, scrub radius will change when you move the center of the contact patch inward or outward, but within the confines of what fits inside the Camaro fenders you probably aren't making big changes here. Roll center, anti-dive, and anti-squat change with tire height, as does your car's center of gravity height. Again, unless you're going way different they won't change a lot.

Yup, Matt hit the nail on the head. Also keep in mind that the "optimal" alignment for each set of tires will be slightly different because of both the changing parameters Matt pointed out and the changes in tire compound/construction, but as before those differences shouldn't be drastic enough to have much (if any) measurable impact in performance.
