Great gains....cost-effective gains !

Does going to the smaller 2.3" pulley require a smaller belt to spin it without slipping ?
Or can the original belt designed for the original 2.5" pulley be used/retained ?

The last time I knew they did remote tuning. Don’t know if that is still true.

Just asking how can you tell ? It doesn't show the air fuel ratio !
Could be traction issues, etc ! Just asking !

Ted j. Told me the pulley swap gains down low but will fall off a bit up top. Plus more heat generated. That is why I am on the fence

Compare the power curves on the dyno graph. power peaks about 500rpm earlier with the pulley. The curve is shifted left. I don't mean anything negative by it, but a larger or even ported supercharger would likely keep making power out further is all.

You don't need a smaller belt. You will use the original.

Why is Vengeance using STD and not SAE? SAE is the standard, I don't know why places continue to use STD on their dyno sheets so they can inflate numbers.

While your gains on the same dyno from them will be correct, the HP, TORQUE is inflated. There's a reason why car manf's use SAE to rate their engines at the crank, and for a true correct number SAE should be used on the dyno.

I agree that SAE should be the standard for everyone but STD correction is about 3% higher than SAE so you can still figure out what the SAE numbers with relative accuracy.

OP, did your 2.3 pulley and tune require anything else? What was the total cost?

I'm asking because the shop that dynoed my car, which is well known and has a good reputation, recommended their Phase 1 package. It was around $3K, which is more than I want to spend. The package is as follows:

Gains up to 60 HP!!

ATI Lower Crank Balancer
15% Lower Supercharger Drive Pulley
HD RPM Series Drive Belt
Roto Fab High Flow Cold Air Intake
160 Degree Thermostat
HD Crank Seal Kit
ARP Crank Bolt
Brisk Performance Spark Plugs
Custom Engine (and auto transmission if equipped) Calibration

Thanks
