2SS headlight flicker out
Last week I noticed my passenger side hl was yellow when driving out of my garage in the morning.
2 days later the passenger light was out at night. Sometimes it flickers when I turn headlight switch on/off. Is this a hl or harness I replace? Should I replace both at the same time? (4500 or 5000k?) What are we buying for replacement bulbs (company & part#)? I just went out of warranty last month... 2016 Camaro 2ss (has full hid and led hl package included) Thanks! I'm big on buying quality parts |

Did you find the issue, mine just started doing the same thing. Was it just the bulb or ballast?

Start by swapping bulbs left to right to see if the issue follows before dropping money on bulbs, harness or ballasts. Flickering could mean a number of things but start with the easiest.

Sounds like the bulb is dying. Usually HID bulbs will shift colour right before they die. If you are lucky, you might see them turn purple/pink right before they die.
In the past, I used Philips X-tremeVision gen2 which is a 5000K bulb. It gives off a very nice and white clean look. Good output, too.

Mine was exactly the same, flickers at start etc, just swapped the bulb and everything is fine now.
