I'd say Lingenfelter is the closest modern equivalent we have, but it isn't exclusively Camaro or even GM I think, not like Saleen is to the Mustang. Back in the 60s the closest equivalent would be Yenko or Baldwin. COPO wasn't a tuner source, it was just the GM division for extra custom orders, not necessarily performance tuning. All they did was drop in a new engine per request.

No. GM doesn't have an equivalent company that throws cheesy assed body kits on a car and charge 30K over cost for them.
That said. Lingenfelter is one of the performance leaders SLP engineering did a LOT of stuff back in the 4th gen era. GM vehicles and engines just seem much more modular and easier to work on they are the gold standard in performance modifications that just about anyone can do. So the exact specific tuners aren't needed so much.

I originally wanted them to release a Yenko edition of the 2010 Camaro, but I ended up realizing that there wasn't one Yenko edition '69 ('69 happens to be my favorite year for the camaro, along with millions of others rofl).
But yeah, no one tuner now - and I like it that way. Saleen just makes another mass-produced performance car, essentially, only it's outrageously overpriced. Ford needs Saleen, though, because without Saleen they have no Corvette equivalent. |

I was going to say SLP and if you want, check out RKSport.com. They started on GM cars and now do dodge and ford. They have the body kits and other stuff for tuners.
