Xm renewal
God they are such whores....I wanted the (non Howard) select plan, site shows they would renew select plan for $250....so I called:
Me: hi I can't afford that.... Them: no problem, how about $148 and we include Howard (all access)? Me: that's fair, bill me, thank you, goodbye Car updates within 5 min, all good. |

I have gotten just the base plan for the 5 or 6 months for 35.00 for the past few years on my wife's car. Once my year is up with the Camaro, I will try to get the same deal for it.

Haha yup. All my cars, once XM expires I know it is only a matter of time until it comes down to $30 for another year. I use it sparingly enough, especially with Android Auto/Pandora that I have no interest in paying more than that.

Call up and say 'cancel service'. That will connect you to the retention department. It's their job to keep you as a customer at all cost. I pay about $125 per year for premier plan AND internet listening. Love XM / the Highway channel 56.
FYI: Pandora listeners I have seen the yearly / 12 month Pandora gift cards at Target for $35-$40 on sale vs $60 regular. No commercials / ads and the ability to fast forward.

Those of you with an Amazon Echo device can stream Sirius XM if you have the internet streaming subscription.it makes the cost of the Sirius plan a little more worth it now.

Howard is all I have it for. Have had Sirius since Howard made the change. When it came time in my Camaro, they just pretty much gave it to me. Think I paid $28 for the next year.
When Howard went to Sirius, bought my husband a lifetime subscription, $499 at the time. Over 10 years later...still only pay for an extra radio in my Subie attached to that plan....$20 every 6 months. If you missed George's 80th gay birthday...you haven't lived. |

Went for the premium subscription and was offered
XM All Access (1 Year - Promo) $119.88 U.S. Music Royalty Fee $16.66 Total Charges $136.54 I just need to make sure I either cancel or get a good offer before it auto-subscribes in 12 months for $273. Now need to research posts for Onstar deals. I pay $20 mo for unlimited wi-if in car which I haven't decided if I really need with a recent Verizon data plan change for my cell. |
