Don't know if this has been covered elsewhere, but I just got my 2017 ZL1, A10 Hyperblue (so no red belts) and my Start button is black plastic like the SS is..

No chrome for me.

Do we know if there's a pattern to the chrome starts? Maybe only in some batches maybe only the ones that come with red belts?

Interesting. It was assumed all ZL1 have the chrome button. I would have someone look into your VIN/Build info.

Did anyone ever confirm/test fit a C7 button to see if it is interchangeable? I saw one at my local cars & coffee this last weekend and it looks identical.

if the C7 Button will work I found a website last month that lets you make the PTS button in any configuration you can dream of.

I installed the C7 silver start button in my SS. I wrapped the black bezel with red wrap.

Is the button made of a different material like aluminum? Or is it just painted plastic?
