The order number they should be able to get to you right away but that only means your dealer submitted the order. You need the 6 digit order number from dealer in order to track status later on in the build. It will sit if your dealer doesnt have allocation. My order sat for months. The size of the dealer doesnt really matter if your dealer gets allocation but the larger dealers prob sell more Camaros so they get more allocations than others. It doesnt mean smaller dealers wont necessarily have allocation. My particular dealer i started with did not.

Well the good news is that my car will be delivered to the dealer tomorrow. The bad news is that the front splitter is cracked from transport damage. Just my luck

I'm confused as hell. For a month now, If I get a live agent, my order HAS been accepted. If I get the virtual agent, my order has NOT been accepted?
a chevy chatbot live agent told me this evening my order event code is now 2030 as of 10/26/22

my salesman (at Criswell) told me on the 28th..........NOT accepted yet. he swears they have an allotment for me or they would not have let me order a car. you calling Boloney or truth?

Is all this normal? or simply part of the process?

I can tell you that my order was edited (2030) at least 10 times before it was accepted by GM (2000). It was edited every week on the same day and at the same time. Almost like an automated thing. I don't know why they chose 2030 instead of going in order with something like 1130. That makes more sense to me
