Wow, so you made almost 2k on your Mustang after driving it for a year?

When you trade a car in, they can always manipulate the numbers to make it seem like you got a great deal. It's an old dealer tactic.

My mustang had 32,000 and had a wreck in Dec. 14k in damage repair. The 2019 Camaro I got has 34,000 I actually got $2500 in diminished value after the wreck. And $1000 for inconvenience. Applied it all to my loan. I owed 22k on the mustang when I traded it. I made out like a bandit. I had 3k carry over from my 2016 camaro I traded in for the mustang. I was surprised what they offered me on the mustang when they knew the all about the damage and had seen my video from my dash cam of the wreck. Plus the carfax where it shows.

can't manipulate a 2017 mustang GT premium for 27k and a year later and after a wreck getting almost 29k for it. Great deal no matter how you slice it.

When I was looking to get my Challenger I had a existing car loan on a Dodge car they took the loan made it disappear took the balance that I owed on the other car off the Challenger then added it back Like I traded in the Dodge car. I ended up with both cars and walked out with my RT for 27k plus the outstanding balance on the other car added it it was close to 10k plus they gave me 1k in cash. I was looking just what my RT was worth and I can still get close to 20k for it and it is 10 years old.
