I gotcha. I just wasn't understanding what you meant in your prior post. If you like the wickerbill then that’s all that matters on your car. Just not my cup of tea.

At 155 mph plus the rear end feels very planted with more than adequate traction. I suspect the wicker bill adds little to nothing in that regard. It’s likely a net negative with respect to performance.

"adequate" as in straight line traction?

Adequate as in I don’t get that floaty feeling I’ve experienced at high speeds in other cars, straight line or curves. Having said that, there may be situations where a wicker bill helps, but I suspect it’s not very often.

Competitively? No. Have I put it, and quite a few other high performance cars, on a track to stretch their legs, yes. I spend my time and money on competitive shooting.

I’m no expert, just a guy with 45 years of driving, and a half dozen or so high performance cars under my belt. If you think it helps have at it, have fun, be safe.

Their use can depend on a lot of different variables. I’ve seen them work on multiple platforms in a variety of circumstances. That’s not to say there isn’t a trade off that may come from their use. There is a reason why the Z/28 had one, just as there’s a reason why the ZLE comes with a monster wing.

Ultimately, I was asking because I want the ability to easily R&R. I think they look both cool and cheesy at the same time. I’m also the type of person who would run a plywood splitter on track without worry, so take everything I have to say in whatever way you’d like…

I hope it helps! They’re not expensive and easy to install so you don’t have a lot to lose.

Do you know the part number? I think I want to order and install. Also, we have the same car, color and options! Except mine is a 2021. Love the look of the wickerbill

My dealership installed mine, as I ordered the car with it, and broke one of the end fasteners. I brought it back to them and they have ordered a new wicker bill but the fasteners are mia with no eta from the manufacturer. I'm not very happy with my dealership, Maher Chevrolet in St Petersburg, FL. I mean how hard is it to put some nutserts in the spoiler and bolt the spoiler on. I'm still waiting for the fasteners...... it's been 2 months now. The dealership is going to owe me $450 plus a new center spoiler because mine now has holes drilled in it....

$337 as I post today. Not sure what the shipping would run.
