I did some checking and it looks like the A10 does have some gearing advantages over the A8 for drag racing. First gear is a little shorter, and Fifth should handle upper-120s mph with the 305/45-17 tires. Meaning, instead of shifting to 5th right before the traps like an A8, it will spend more time in 5th, but won't need to make an extra shift into 6th while the car has just bolt-ons.
