what size Michelin ps4s?

I am gonna replace the stock good years within the next few weeks and I have already decided I am gonna switch to the PS4S. These will be mounted on my stock SS rims should I stick with stock sizes or has anyone went up in size with these tires and had no issues like rubbing? Thanks in advance guys and gals!

On the OEM SS wheels you can go up one size to 255/40R20 and 285/35R20 per the Michelin specs.

That's exactly my plan, after months of research and budget constraint checking. Once the weather warms up a bit, of course.

I know it isn't exactly optimal, but I do expect it to be orders of magnitude better than the stock Goodyears in wet and cold weather, and to at least match them in warm/hot and dry. Anyone with experience at ~540-550 rwhp using these tires on the street, please speak up if you have any warnings or caveats to share. Many thanks in advance

The only downside I see with 285/35/20 tires compared to stock is it will be a bit taller (by 0.28 inches) and speedometer would be off by 1%.

I have a question. I went to my local Costco to inquire about the Michelin ps4s and the technician told me I would need to speak to the manager before they would even consider ordering these tires for me.

The reason being I currently have run flats and the Michelin's aren't.
I was baffled they would turn down a sale of about $1,400.
My other question is- There shouldn't be a problem with these tires other than if I get a flat I shouldn't drive on them?
(which to me is common sense).
Mahalo in advance

Not the first time a big box/chain has refused to replace run-flats with non-RF tires. They're afraid of getting sued by stupid people.

I went with PS4S stock sizes on the stock wheels. 245 front and 275 rear. Seems to me that the 275s are slightly taller already than the 275 runflats (speedo seems to read touch lower) so going to the 285 might screw up the speedomter more than people are expecting. Nominal sizes are one thing, differences in how manufacturers make the tires result in differences in the true size of the tire.

Ditto. Not personal. This is a Costco thing.
Been buying Michelins from them for decades. They pull up the factory tire specs in their database and will only sell that tire. Love those hot dogs though!

Just made good on my plan to upgrade to PS4S rubber, 255/40's in the front and 285/35's in the rear. From the look of them, this is the max on OEM wheels, anything wider would bulge out.

No rubbing in the rear (about 1/2" space remains from that infamous harness), no issues whatsoever with traction control or stabilitrak so far, the car drives like a dream, the tires are precise, responsive and way more quiet. Pretty amazing, if a bit on the expensive side.

Costco must be a bunch of idiots then.

Michelin and Continental both cover towing for up to 150 miles on their tires, so no reason at all to not change over from a RF tire to a non-RF tire if the owner wants to make that change.
