305 on a 19x10 front?

Just wondering if anyone has done a 305 (305/30 specifically) on a 19x10 front wheel? or if everyone has gone to a 19x10.5 or 19x11 for that?

If you've done a 19x10, any rubbing issues? offset?

I'm currently running 305/30 in the front. The wheel is APEX PS-7 19x10.5 but I can't remember the offset. I do have camber plate installed and -2.2 front camber. No spacer needed.

19x10.5" ET22 is the offset on your PS-7 wheel.

I don't recommend the use of a 305 wide tire mounted on a 10" wide wheel, however depending on the specs of the particular tire, it *could* work. It sounds like this would be a front wheel in a staggered setup, which in that case I would run a 10.5" wide at minimum, preferably 11".

We are producing 19x11" ET11 to be a front specific fitment on a 5th and 6th Gen Camaro. It is aggressive on non-ZL1 models and will require additional negative camber, but otherwise fits fantastic.

Here is a protoype setup on a 2018 ZL1 1LE. 19x11" ET11 front and 19x11" ET43 rear, all wrapped in 305/30-19 Bridgestone RE71R's.

Like I said on fb messenger - when the 12in rears are available and maybe even some 18in diameter options... I'm in

Pretty much the only people who are doing this are limited in wheel width by their competition rules (SCCA street class autocross, for example). It works, but is not ideal. If there was a shorter 285, I’d pick that over the 305. But as there isn’t.... The RE71 has a stiff sidewall and has less downside than others when pinched.

If you’re not limited in wheel width, go wider for a 305.
