You got me thinking about this, it sure would be a pretty dirty move for GM to remove such an option, and not be forthcoming about it. So I went out to our lot to check some 19's. Unfortunately, the only 19's we have or a 1LE, and all the others have uplevel cluters. They all have the timer. Checking the manual though, it does appear that uplevel cluster is required on 19's in order to get a performance timer... That is pretty lame if thats correct...I could be wrong.

Thanks Cooper!

I found how to add the performance timer on the 2018 Camaro LS. I will provide instructions for anyone with the same problem as me that happens upon this thread.

Looking at the driver infotainment center press left on the right side of steering wheel. You should see 3 options: Info, Navigation, and Options. Select Options. Select Info Pages. Press right and select Edit List. Now you will see all the screens you are familiar with listed like oil temp, speedometer, tire pressure, g-force, etc... Scroll down and select Performance Timer. You should see a checkmark next to it now. Congratulations! You now have the performance timer!

My performance timer was set 0-62 by default. To set it to 0-60 i did the following. After getting out of the settings i flipped to the performance timer screen. Press right to pull up options. Select Set Stop Speed. Press down until the speed is at 0. Now press up until the speed is set to 60. Press ok. Congratulations! Now your performance timer is set for 0-60 mph!

I was wondering why everyone kept ignoring the advise to turn it on but rather when crazy about how GM took it away or what ever else. It has to be turned on it is not in the list by default.

Yeah I'm going to have to sheepishly eat some crow here. I guess that I mis-interpreted the manual, as it states that the performance timer is only on the upgraded instrument cluster. After a more determined attempt, I found the (very, very simple) setting change. It's there, it exists.

That being said, 0-62 mph and only adjustable in 5s increments? What good is 0-62!?

Mine was the same way when I got it. IIRC, change the MPH setting down to zero, and when you set it back up again it will increase 5 MPH at a time, 10, 15, 20... 50, 55, 60, 65....
This has something to do with changing units back from km to mi I believe.

Hey, I mis read the manual as well then. So you do NOT have the uplevel cluster, but DO have the 0-60 timer on your 2019?? Good information to have!
