How do I tell if my car has the 1LE track suspension vs stock?
Bought a car - someone put a TON of money in it to look like a 1LE but: how do I tell if my car has the 1LE track suspension vs stock?

Go to this thread, look up the code for the 1LE suspension.
https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=420366 Then go look at the sticker thats in your trunk. Lift up the carpet and there should be a silver sticker with a bunch of those codes on it. Its how I figured out what options my car came with. |

Ok- it doesn’t have the code for it but the previous owner took this 2ss and added everything to make it a 1LE (except for the obvious manual transmission); I was wondering how to tell by looking at the components ON the car?

look to see if the suspension parts have the part number stickers still on it. or go to or call the GM dealer and have them run the vin to see if the guy had the mag ride reprogramed for the 1LE suspension. The car will also sit 1/2" lower than stock.

I should have bought a ZL1

Do as other's have posted and look at the stickers on the suspension parts like the sway bars and springs.
One thing that you will likely not have is the electronic LSD. But you should be fine...I am certainly happy with my car and a normal LSD.

there is no way to add a eLSD to a non eLSD car.

He's a 2016 guy, so there's no way he has the mag ride reprogram. I'm in the same boat, if the reprogram was available for '16's I would order both kits this afternoon! I may do it anyway...I would love to hear from anyone with a MRC '16 who has done both kits.
