Ok. I'm feeling left out here.
New SS, new ZL1, new 1LE, new 4 bangers, etc.
Where is my gen 6 Z/28?

I don't think the dealers and GM will stomach the sales performance of a track focused race car for quite a while.

They came out with that already. It a C7 Z06.
All kidding aside, it will be interesting to see if they are willing to go down that road again. I'm of the thought that it was a one and done at that capacity. Which is good for all current gen5 Z/28 owners. |

I think they will bring it out in 2018.
They waited to late in the Gen 5 body run, and they learned from it. Nobody wants a high dollar car that has a dated body in less than two years.

GM better get with Ford and use their Voodoo motor, or a Lamborghini V10, or something. This is bull crap. Viper V10 can work too.

Once they release the engine for the mid engine Corvette they'll translate it to the Z/28. Prediction: no more than 5.5L, TT and DOHC. Also a new trans, don't we all hope

I didn't realize this. I'll be telling the very next person that yells "nice car!!!", No not really, you wouldn't want this old dated clunker. Nothing to see here.
