I went for what I imagined an OEM look would be, nothing too over the top.

Nice!!!! Did your wheel have the heat option? Did you keep your stock wheel? Where did you get the wheel at? I'm looking to replace mine!

Carbonaddons. I kept the heated feature. And I haven't decided yet if I'll send my stock wheel back.

Looks good, next up cover up the silver with some real carbon as well.

If you do go full carbon, I recommend scuffing all the parts and spray with satin clear. It looks much more OEM then gloss, it drove me nuts until I did (after I had installed it all)

Where did you source that wheel? looks great! I love the suede but it's a pain to clean

Do you mind if I ask where you go the carbon? And I assume they are real and not stick on pieces? I’m not a fan of the fake stick on pieces but yours look amazing.

Half from AliExpress, other half is a mix of NextGen and CarbonOns. Don't recommend doing any exterior carbon, apparently none of the companies (likely all from same place) above seal the edges so eventually separates.

Mine are real and stick-on, but not the old school kind. They cover the entire piece fully, can't tell any dimensional difference visually or physically after installed.

Carbonaddons has the door handle covers now. I just got mine today and installed them. I post some pictures when it is light out. Now all my silver interior trim is covered.

I really like that satin look. If my car didn't have the OEM gloss CF dash panel, I'd seriously consider this route. I don't think I can bring myself to scuff up and satin clear the OEM CF dash panel.

Now you've got me curious what the exposed CF ZL1 hood insert would look like in satin finish!

I'd pop it off and scuff it without thinking twice, lol. Satin is less distracting as well.

An alternative to spraying the OEM panel, could just simply wrap it in satin vinyl. Hood part as well.

Didn't know this, thanks!! I actually don't notice the handles, but less is better.

One thing I meant to say about respraying with satin clear, it has held up great over the past year or so. Stuff that gets touched alot like steering wheel controls show zero signs of use still.

Alcantara is very easy to clean. Use some Sonax cleaner and a small brush like a soft toothbrush.

Yesterday I ordered from carbonaddons a CF custom wheel no LED but with heat and Alcantara Leather, CF gear shift chrome trim delete and the CF Automatic shift know cover!
