A brand new ZL1 hood with carbon insert retails for about $3500. Not only did you fail to read the title of the thread, your complaint on pricing is completely off base.

Seeing the corners on the concrete is a bit concerning... But that is a very good price.

9/10 times the buyer will have the hood repainted or wrapped. We did gently place it against the wall tho.
