Nice! I did not. Being so new it was probably just produced and will be a month or two, possibly longer to arrive at the dealership. Mine has an ETA of 7/10 and is closer to me in NY.

Never bad to have a backup ha. So did you do the same thing I did? Put in an order on a '24, panic, and grab a '23? I've got a VOM with Hendrick on order but even they're not sure how many ZL1 allocations they'll get this year. Rapid Blue was always a very close second choice.

Yep, sure did! 2024 is the same car, price hiked a bit. May as well find a 2023. That was my logic.

5k on the ZL1s is more than a bit. Chevy really is milking the s#it out of the last year. I'm sure dealers are going to be marking up like crazy as well.

Add me to the list of people scurrying to get a '23. I put money down today on a Radiant Red. With the $750 it came out to $52 under sticker. Not willing to pay $5k for riptide.

The part that sucks is that their transport tracking system is broken so he won't know when I can schedule my transport until the car is coming off the truck at their lot. It's at the nearest railyard a few hours away but it could be weeks, they were expecting 7 cars this week and the full size transport only had one on it for them.

GM increased the starting price on the ZL1 by 5k? Geez.

I have been talking to my local dealer since I heard about the ending of the 6th gen. My dealer got an allocation for a ZL1 and we went through the order process just a few days ago. 6 speed coupe with a carbon fiber hood insert. $10K market adjustment. I don't like the market adjustment but this beast is flat black man. This is going to be an epic looking car.

Lol, yes it won’t because the car is done in 6 months! Ultimately in the short term I’m guessing prices will go through the roof as cars become unobtanium.

If it's matte black then you got the collectors edition.

My dealer told me it would be 40-50k markup for the collectors edition. No thanks and good thing I had two others on the hook.

Have agree with you here. I mean to each their own( I hope those that want one get one), but 90+,000 on a Matte Black paint job that's a pain in the *ss to clean when dirty and some stickers...no thanks! Guy I work with has the flat/Matte Black Blackwing and while he loves the car, he says he regrets the color choice and is seriously contemplating getting rid of it just to get a different color. Says it always just LOOKS dirty being flat/Matte.

Absolutely! Got mine on a Tuesday(waited until dealership was close to closing at 8pm before I drove it home to let traffic die WAY down). Stayed in the garage until that Friday when I had early morning appointment to get it paint corrected and PPF'D(again to beat majority of traffic). Then Monday had the windows tinted 20% ceramic tint all around(except windshield). Wasted NO time in getting that stuff done! It's a must with these cars!(in my opinion)
