New wheels and tires on rear?
Having new wheels and drag radials on the rear of my 16 SS the TPMS is not showing the rear tires and is turning on the dash light. My question is going to the drag strip will this situation throw some kind of code and slow the car down?

New wheels = re-learn TPMS sensors for TractionControl to work correctly.

Are TMPS sensors required for the traction control? I just build a set of track tires and decided to not install the sensors for cost savings. I am now hoping I didn't make a serious error

I left the sensors in the original wheels and tires off the rear and put new ones in the new wheels and tires but did not have the car with me. That is probably why they aren`t working. The traction control and the stabilink will be off at the track so that should not be a problem, but I still am wondering if the sensors not working will affect the performance of the car in that maybe the computers will throw a code of some kind.
