Put stock exhaust back on but painted first.

I put my stock exhaust back on today but I hated the way it looked so I painted it first. Blends in and hides the ugly spots and stains.

You remind me friend's LS3 I met at a gas station.
I thought he had a quiet OEM exhaust OEM exhaust manifolds, OEM rear mufflers, OEM intake ... His Camaro was noisier than me with Headers, HF cats and open rear mufflers. I don't understand how he did it
Beautiful deep and roaring sound!

Very nice! I love that splitter. It's very aggressive. Did you paint it/have it painted or did it come paint matched?

BTW, absolutely beautiful car man.

Added an AF Dynamics CAI. Very reasonable price on Amazon, very well packaged, looks decent and the LS3 seems to like the fresh air!

Had to swap out the battery yesterday. Went with a Diehard Platinum AGM. The battery I pulled out of the car was dated 2012. Id say it had a good run lol.

Plugged the RR tire after I pulled out a 1 1/2” screw out of it. Right in between the tread so I feel confident about the plug. Found out that a brand new tube of cement can be empty. Plug kit is just over a year old so, wasn’t like it was sitting around forever. Also found out that the tpms weren’t correct per tire. Tire going down on the DIC was the LF. Did the relearn on that, as well. Amazing what you find out that other “mechanics” did to your ride.

I know many say the L99 doesn't need it, but installed my Mishimoto Catch Can today. Hardest part was getting the hose disconnected by the throttle body.

I think the people that say that are wrong. My L99 ran perfect but always smelled of hot motor oil when stopping at red lights or stop signs, actually a fairly common occurrence in these cars. I found that the inside of the intake manifold was being coated in oil from the PCV system.

After I installed my catch can the intake no longer was getting covered in oil and the smell was gone. I won't run another LS engine without a catch can.
