How much more Power with headers?

My car is stock SS 6 spd except with ported Throttle Body. How much more HP and Tq can I expect with Long Tube headers going through my stock NPP exhaust? Its a 17' that I bought new, now with about 68k miles.

Headers in general have a range of about 20-30 rwhp give or take depending on tuner. I think some people have hit as high as 35 rwhp.

Not sure just how much torque though. Unsure on ported TB either.

I would add a CAI intake if you are going to put headers on. A cam change and CAI would work real well with headers also.

I had a Rotofab and a Soler 87 TB when I added my Kooks headers and green cats. All else being stock. My gain was around 28hp

Would that translate on a manual car to about 50-60hp at the flywheel?

No way. A gain of 30 WHP with a drivetrain loss of 15% means you gained 35 crank HP. A gain of 25 WHP with that same drivetrain loss is 29 crank HP.

When you pull the trigger make sure you heat wrap them, starter overheating is a common issue.

I would think it would be hardly noticable as that is only about a 4.4% to 6.6% gain in power...

I guess you could look at it this way, the 455 HP SS is rated at 4.3 sec with M6, (4.0 sec with A10) 0-60 Mph, the 650 HP ZL-1 is rated at 3.7 sec with M6 (3.5 sec with A10) 0-60... I would guess 30 extra WHP might knock 0.1 sec off your 0-60 at best...

E85 is a better and more worthwhile mod IMO.

My buddy let me drive his SS 1LE on track with the mods below and it was capable of going about 1.5 seconds faster per lap than my personal best in my SS 1LE at NOLA with stock power (around 400whp). So a gain of about 60hp was noticeable to me. If you're already getting a tune with your headers you might as well get a flex fuel sensor and make it a flex fuel tune that supports both E85 and 93 octane. LT2 intake manifold from the C8 Corvette (requires a bit of modification to fit) is another inexpensive mod to add power that you could do before a tune in addition to the previously mentioned intake.

Mods: Rotofab Intake, 95mm throttle body, LT2 intake from C8 Corvette, 1 7/8" headers, x-pipe, tuned for 93 octane making 457rwhp
