Whipple RDP
Wanting to order a whipple from RDP store but whipple claims it’s been discontinued due to a new blower coming and is no longer in production? I was quoted 10 week ship time from RDP. has anyone recently ordered a whipple and received?

Yeah, I asked whipple back in like.... may or whenever and back then they said i'd be out by now. So it sounds like another couple of months at min. I wouldn't believe it. That's why I went with procharger. Neither Whipple nor Magnuson had anything in stock and said 6 months... back in May. I'm supposedly on a call list when it comes out but haven't heard a peep.

Yep Whipple discontinued the 2.9 and will be replaced by the 3.0 at some point. Ford gets top Priority because that is where majority of the sales come from. I am betting with all the shortages out there from a employee and materials standpoint, Whipple is allocating most of it's resources to what makes them the most Revenue. So that put's Gen5 LT stuff on the back burner.

You might want to consider the Magnuson or Edelbrock 2650 at this point, those seem to be more readily available (e.g. https://www.phastekperformance.com/E...rock-15595.htm or https://magnusonsuperchargers.com/pr...03477a6a&_ss=r).

I would email first before purchasing anything even if it says "in stock". The definition of "in stock" has changed a lot as of late. I ordered a Corsa exhaust that showed "In stock". I emailed CSP first, they said 2-3 weeks built to order. 3.5 months later it showed up.

Agree with King get confirmation before putting anything on a CC. The supply chain seems broken on everything. I'm a long time AC contractor and my suppliers are out of equipment about 30-40% of the time. Ready to build my 4wd and can't get what I need on it either now. Whipple truck still moving out though. Good luck.

Yes indeed call first. I've had a Corsa NPP with black chrome tips on order for 4 months. Last week they said mid October, today they said mid November. |

Was wondering if you didn't care about the blower coming out of the hood why can't use the LS whipple and the Lt to LS intake adapters.. I'm sure there might be an issue with the blower pulley out to far but not sure. An easy fix for the camaro would be to use a corvette snout since there accessories generally run closer to the motor then have someone make a correct length shaft you give them the oem shaft out of the whipple they make it longer so the pulley aligns. Last time I got a shaft made that had 2 broaches. threaded, and a few lower and raised sections it was 100 bucks or less. honestly I never measured if the belt distance on the lt are the same as ls I know the cranks and rods are interchangeable in the block from that youtuber trying to make a budget GM motor to handle high hp.
or ya you could just get a 2650 lol
