Agreed. I don't get why everyone is upset the base is sleek and understated, then those same people complain the ZTK package on the ZR1 is too much, and useless...

These are just options people, you can buy the higher aero/performance package, or the understated base - that's the beauty of options!

This also applies to the whiners/complainers of an NA Z06 again. If you want FI, then wait for the ZR1 - we all know the TT version is coming.

Interior great. Exterior...ehhh. The new F150 kind of gives me the same vibes. Here's hoping they didn't ruin the exterior of the Sierra, while giving us a much nicer interior.

I'm kind of shocked I haven't seen this one posted elsewhere on this forum. Yes, there's been plenty of doom and gloom posts, so maybe that's why. But this article pretty much states the Camaro without a doubt...is dead. It wouldn't surprise me if that is true, and I kind of think it likely is (and then maybe we'll get some sort of EV replacement a year or two after) but I'll wait until we hear it officially from GM.

I agree , but something doesn't seem right...just sayin'

From the article:

"The current sixth-generation Chevy Camaro is slated to sunset in 2023 as a 2024 model-year vehicle. To mark its departure, the 2024 Chevy Camaro will be offered with a special-edition “farewell” package."

When was this "slated to sunset in 2023" announced? Rumors are one thing but this GM Authority seems to be talking past it as if it's already been officially announced. Seems sort of low-key for such a land-mark event.

I don't mind the new fascia, but I didn't mind the old one either. In any case the interiors are what will sell the MCE trucks.

Hilariously enough I've read that a lot of Silverado owners cited the design as one of the main reasons they went ahead with their purchase.

It's a done deal Camaro is dead. It was a matter of when, not if.

I mean people said the same thing in 2001 and GM is arguably in a much better financial position than even back then so...

GM is much, much larger than a niche segment pony car.

Are you sure? I mean I sure don't log into gm6.com regularly. So by that logic alone and hearing no other information I am forced to assume that gm is all Camaro, only Camaro, and when there is no Camaro, there is no gm.

And now we know why any future admin is going to tax by the mile...though the heavier vehicles should be the lion's share. They have to come up with something to replace the petroleum taxes.

Looking at getting a truck around 2023 or 24. No more Diesel is going to lose me. Hopefully its kept as an option on the Gmc Elevation.
