New eLSD calibration for SS 1LE!
Coming Soon from Chevrolet Performance for your Camaro SS 1LE:
"Continuous on-track and street development combined with the pursuit of perfection have pushed our Camaro engineers to develop an eLSD calibration that will enable faster turn in and faster power application on turn exit. This eLSD calibration will decouple the differential at a faster rate based on accelerator pedal position and steering wheel angle to enable faster yaw rotation at corner entry, and upon corner exit the eLSD will couple faster than normal rates to enable power to be delivered sooner to both rear wheels." Stay tuned for pricing and availability! |

Awesome stuff!!!
I just got my 1LE last weekend, and I am already looking into the GMPP solid rear cradle hardware from the ZL1 1LE. Nice to see there will be a e-diff. upgrade as well.

This is for primarily for autox and all nannies have to be off, it will not change anything with nannies on or in PTM. Last edited by JRL1LE; 07-23-2018 at 04:59 PM. |

No. This is for the eLSD lock-unlock programming.

Yeah, that is what I meant. Common sense says it would not be the diff. itself.

Will this elsd tune apply to stock cars with mrc and tpm? Or modded suspensions and no ptm collaboration as in the previous thread? |

It applies to the vehicle as shipped, no way for GM to know and account for all parameters of the aftermarket.

Does not change anything under PTM programming. Only enables the faster coupling and decoupling with all nannies off.

eLSD modes change automatically when the traction control button is pressed as follows: – Mode 1: The standard mode when the vehicle is started. Emphasis is on vehicle stability. Also used in PTM wet mode. – Mode 2: Engaged when both TCS and StabiliTrak® are turned OFF. Provides more nimble corner turn-in, and is biased for better traction out of corners. – Mode 3: Engaged when PTM is engaged in Dry, Sport 1 & 2 and Race Modes. Nimble calibration with similar functionality as eLSD Mode 2, however it is integrated to work with PTM. – Mode 4: Engaged when TCS is selected OFF, but StabiliTrak® remains ON. Vehicle stability is still the priority, while allowing for optimized traction out of corners. Note: this is Competitive Mode. So my question is this: does anyone know (vs quess) whether the new GMPP elsd tune will replace all 4 modes, or only some of the existing modes, or only mode 2? |
