I could have sworn I read a thread on here about a motorized one. Leave it hidden until you see the popo and then hit the button to display it..

BUT...the law is the law...Its not the Officer's fault he has to enforce a silly law. He was sworn in to uphold the laws and he is doing just that. Can he really take you to jail?

Probably not. But how many times has he pulled you over? At some point it becomes blatent disregard....

It's the second time I have been stopped. He said he can take me to jail (for about 4 hours) I will get timed out. The bad part is he can tow my car and inpound it for up to 90 days. This officer's pet peeve's are no mud flaps on trucks, tinted windows and no front plates. That is all he gives tickets for.

I had to sign a paper at the dealership indicating I refused to have them put the front plate mount on my car!

I'll be staying away from YOUR neck of the woods!

That sucks man! I got my bracket and plate in the trunk at all times when i drive,.. in the event i get pulled over, i "have an appointment to have it professionally installed". havent been pulled over yet though. i refuse to drill holes in my bumper! there is that hide-a-way front plate thing that you pull out and flip up before driving, and can tuck it back underneath when you park. maybe you can get away with that?

I saw the Hide A Plate on Motor Sport Image's web site. They are in Roseville. Their number is 916-784-2323.

In HS he gave kids tickets because they walked OUTSIDE OF THE CROSSWALK at lunch!!

He also gave his COWORKER a ticket!!!

And how the hell can he take you to jail for that? What is the reason you will be arrested?

that's what i heard LAST year... :(

i still remember couple of weeks after our grand opening. he drove by super slow passing our shop and was dogging me while i was washing a car...
