ONLY on the outside the 'Ford POS' is just a exoskeleton to mask the cars TRUE appearance. i never saw the trailer so i had NO idea that the LTD transformed like that but i had my suspicions when you heard it drive and the sound it made when you shut off the engine

I had asked about this a long time ago (like october). I found the answer and rented it from netflix. Definately one of my favorite car movies. Great cast when they were young as well. MerF, this is the movie you're talking about.
