Indeed, or you can safely use a guided blade tool such as this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08C7DGB2X

Thank you, that’s the exact blade configuration I was thinking of, with it’s safety back rib for control with less possibility of harm on the hands as a bare blade

I use this for debadging. Not the razor blade though.

If you haven't already removed it, try this. Stack about a half dozen pieces of saturated Bounty paper towel that has a light film of dish detergent on the last one- smack on top the decal. Leave it wet and out of the sun for a day or two. Moisten with a spray water bottle if necessary. You should be able to scrape some or most off with your finger nails. (Really). That will guaranty no accidental glass damage. Place a dry, large, heavy bath towel just beneath the glass to keep the run off away from the soft top fabric.

That's my plan, once the temperature warms up a bit. We've had lows down to 0.1°F to the mid 20's for the past couple of weeks here south of Nashville.

Next week we'll be good, I'm hoping for a few sunny days and mid-50s

I would be careful about using any type of chemical close to the edge of the glass. The window is glued to the top with an adhesive, which could be damaged by solvents. Many people have had problems with the adhesive getting bubbles and separating.
