Hendrick NASCAR Camaro at LeMans

interesting to me, all of the time, money, development, etc., etc. that GM Hendrick, NASCAR, Goodyear and who know how many more have put in to the development of this car of LeMans and for the cup cars, and GM is letting the Camaro go. Makes no sense to me to spend that much time and money developing these cars to not make the car anymore. That old adage....Race on Sunday and sell on Monday. with all the interest expressed in this LeMans Garage 56 car, not only here but now in Europe, seems GM would want to capitalize on that.

I'm pretty ignorant of NASCAR specs, but isn't the camaro body just the shell fixed to a tube chassis?

yes. from what I saw and read about the car, you are correct. I am not a NASCAR follower either, but to me, this was cool. car sounded amazing.
