I can't seem to find my dyno graph but I do remember the average gain was about +25 HP and TQ.

But headers do much more than increase power and torque on these cars. After 5000 rpm, the stock manifolds power and torque drops off of a cliff.

The long tube headers don't drop off anywhere near as much. At 5000 rpms to redline, the stock exhaust rapidly power and tq start to drop and then fall off a lot. At 6500 RPM's with the headers, HP and TQ is about 50 to 60 more at the same RPM with the stock exhaust. And you can really feel it. The car feels like it is accelerating harder.

It is actually quite amazing the gains above 5000 rpm. Do it.
^^^ I can second that, there is a spectacular difference in feel up top on my car, too. Before the headers (but already with the Maggie 2300) it felt like it was sliding off a cliff up top with much weaker acceleration past 5K rpm, and now it just keeps pulling hard almost all the way to 7K.

Headers were definitely worth it to me and I recommend them. Car pulls much harder on the top end around 5k and past, no torque loss down low, engine breathes better and there is less restriction. (I'm catless) Exhaust sounds much better, I have no issues with not being ceramic coated but I don't track (road course) the car, only drag race or do summer cruises. I gained 40 wheel hp on 93 octane with a rotofab cold air intake. When I was purchasing my headers I was also looking at the FI interchiller kit but headers were something I always wanted. Full BMR suspension is going in over the next few weeks; cradle lock out kit, non-adjustable upper control arms, non-adjustable upper and lower trailing arms, double adjustable toe rod ends, driveshaft loop, tunnel brace. Next power mod will be my flex fuel kit with +30 injectors and a JMS low side boost a pump, hoping to be able to run E50-E60 max. I was debating doing a lower pulley and porting the blower, still might, but the flex kit seems like a more effective mod and will help keep temps at bay.
