It’s cut in the hard plastic inner liner. I would not have done it cutting into the metal. I had a pro audio shop do the install, since they’re used to working around trim and pulling wire.

Didn’t know that. And might hit up some of the shops here about that then.

Which projectors did you use? And where did you source the image?

I found the projectors with image on eBay. See if this link gets you close... https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...o+puddle+lamps

It does. Not sure how to activate for a manual, but for the A8:

1. Put it in track or sport mode.
2. Step on the brake as hard as you can. For real. REALLY hard.

3. Put the accelerator to the floor FAST.

The motor will go up to ~2000-2500 rpm and stay there. When you're ready, just release the brake.

If you're not on the brake hard enough, it'll do a burnout. If you are too slow putting the accelerator down, it'll do a burnout. So if you're doing a burnout, it's because you didn't do step 2 or 3 properly.

AFAIK does the manual only have the no-lift-shift.

Manual has no-lift-shift and launch control. But I’m not certain the correct steps to take.

If I remember correctly, off the top of my head on a manual the steps for Launch Control are;
- Car in Sport or Track mode
- Car in Competitive mode (press Traction Control button twice quickly)
- Car must be at a complete stop on level ground
- Hold clutch fully engaged
- Floor gas pedal, engine should go to something like 3000-3500 rpm and hold there (if engine goes to redline something is wrong)
- Let out clutch smoothly and fairly quickly. Don't just drop it, but pretty close.
- Keep gas pedal down, computer will modulate throttle depending on traction until it gets to 100%, then you're on your own going into 2nd gear

Sounds more complicated than it really is. You know it's ready when the rpms hold at 3k and you've got the gas matted, then it's just letting out the clutch smoothly and quickly.

That is the method to use on the 5th gen's, but you have to SLAM the gas pedal down. Just pressing it down won't work.
The car will decide what RPM it'll hold at, with my ZL1 (5th gen) it usually holds at around 2800 rpm.

I didn't think the 2017 had the launch control. Am I remembering incorrectly? How is that different from Line lock.?
