Of course since the 80‘ and I 10000% agree with Becky Senna was the best and Schumacher. His son is already racing in the GP2 Serie. I went several times to the races in Hockenheim and China. In China we had a dinner with the Ferrari Crew in the Revolver Restaurant in PuDong.

Awesome! Thought I was an oddball liking F1 while driving a Camaro lol.

I would love to go an F1 race. And the China race coming up is the 1,000th F1 race. Excited.

Actually on TV you see much more but the atmosphere is amazing. In the old days with the V12 and V10 engines (BMW M5 Had the same) the sound was unbelievable loud. Without those ear protectors you thought your ears are falling off. Even now when I think of that I get goosebumps.

Yeah I figured the Sky TV broadcasts were more detailed than actually being there. But going to at least one race is on the bucket list.

And oh I bet it was loud.

I like F1 and watch most of the races. While IndyCar is my favorite I like pretty much all racing. Not too big on the "stick and ball" sports.

I went to the first 5 or 6 F1s in Indianapolis. For the inaugural race I was seated under the roof at the starting line. That was before the current hybrid engines; if I remember right they were V10s then. Hearing 22 or 24 cars rev to 23k and simultaneously drop their clutches at the standing start from that close was absolutely incredible and something I'll never forget.

My sister lives in Austin and I'm hoping to make it to the F1 race at COTA one of these years (and now the new IndyCar race there, too).

Adam, I hope they figure out your medical issue, and you know I'm close by in Southaven if there's anything you need.

So, here is an update. Yesterday I picked up my wheels. later I will install them. I am also installing the DRL’s as we don’t have them in the EU as you already know. took awhile to get the OEM connectors but now we are ready to go. We have to tap the wires from the HID and route them to the DRL’s.
But first here a some pics from the wheels.

Gonna look more like the original GM pics. I’m still toying with the idea of getting a set of these for backups or just having a second set.

Are you going with the original caps or getting dark ones?

Come on down here to Austin and watch the race at COTA. The race is Nov. 1 through 3 this year.

I went out for Saturday practice and qualifying, plus a few of the support races, a couple of years ago. I like seeing what's happening on TV.

Tailor made caps. Printed direct on the caps.
