Beautiful car, and please don't take this wrong, but it's actually a "500 Festival Event Car". The 2017 Pace Car was a Corvette Grand Sport. The 2016 Pace Car was a Camaro they called a 2017 with an early version of what became the 50th Anniversary Camaro package (the package this thread was created to celebrate and discuss), just in Pearl White instead of Nightfall Gray.

To throw in a recommendation for a top-rated northern Indiana builder/tuner from your other thread; Lingenfelter in Decatur. Arguably considered to be one of the best in the country, and they specialize in Camaros and Corvettes.

Sorry guys, not trying to hijack the thread, just originally from northern Indiana and a lifetime Camaro and Indy 500 fan...

Got her back today. They replaced the #7 injector and now no more misfires. (Three parts in all along with the necessary seals and pipes.) Tech notes say that the fuel injector was sticking. This clears both my Cold Start Rough Idle and #7 Misfire codes. The tech notes mentioned to refer to this effort for also clearing the Stabilitrack issue. Hmmm.

They also took care of the Convertible partition recall. All I can tell is that the partition doesn't have as many fold points as before, just one at the "bottom". I figured they'd say something about my storing things under where the top stores 'cause I've got my towels and windscreen bag there. Not a word.

I gotta admit that I'm a little impressed with their service. Their willingness to allow me to meet the tech, the loaner Silverado (that was kinda cool) and just the overall feel I got from them. Their sister store on the south side of town didn't leave me feeling that way.

Now I just need to clean her up. Might try to go to the First Saturday's Car Show this weekend since I missed our group's cruise this past Sunday.

Then off to Bowling Green next week.

Glad things are lining up. So stoked for Bowling Green. Going for oil change #2 on Friday in preparation for the trek.

Sorry, RWB, I wasn't trying to get you to pull the post. We all love talking about and looking at Camaros, and yours is beautiful and very rare.

Since Chevy quit building pace car replicas and went to only selling the festival cars that's all we get to see outside the race now. I remember several people on here with 2016s (HBM with white rally stripes), but yours is the first 2017 I've seen, and I haven't seen anyone with a 2018 yet (Hot Wheels Crush Orange).
