No, but it taunts other drivers. Every now and then it gives a little rev match rumble when cruising by a local LEO.

Some days, obviously in colder weather, you feel that extra zip on the gas pedal. But some days, like today, 79 degrees F HUMID AF and my car was taunting me in rush hour traffic knowing I can't accommodate it. Almost like it likes the thicker air.

The gas pedal seemed extra zippy even when I wasn't trying for it to be, I felt like I had extra grip on the rear tires, the slightest gas pedal pressure and the engine would lunge forward like it was expecting a 1320 run.

Do you have days like that where your car seems to have a mind of its own and is ready to go and you have to hold it back because you have to?

Today was one of those days for me. Car was just teasing me. Daring me to hit the gas pedal. Or at least it felt like that. Days like that I wish I was at the dragstrip.
No. If I was ever that attached to a car or anything like that, I would check my self into a physc ward

Not really. The SS is actually a pretty good blend at being tame/streetable vs a raw monster. The quality of the Alpha chassis and performance of the LT1 make it carry the cushion of a luxury sedan with the punch of an Ogre…Its powerful and makes itself known and demands its just due respect, but it isn’t obnoxious about it. I have a stalled and cammed LS3 4th Gen. That car has a more ‘race car’ feeling. Like literally you can let it idle and it will do up to 45 MPH on cold days with your foot off the brake not even touching the gas and won’t slow down unless you brake. Touching the gas and you get to 90 and it feels like everyone else around you is going slow because the you’re putting virtually no effort into accelerating.

The SS is fast but it’s still a street car out the factory. When you start modding, you’ll see what I mean.

Liquid water doesn't compress, water vapor does. High humidity actually cools the flame temperature of the combustion event, lowering power.

Its a easy "no" for me also. Never ever feel like that, every drive is just like the one before. Car is exactly the same and I have complete control. The car does what I want it to. Maybe my driving habits alter slightly to fit circumstances but that is about it.

Put it thru the paces, WOT from a roll in 2nd gear and let it go thru 2, 3 and 4th gear right to the boards.
