Anyone Change their battery for a lighter one?

I have seen some SS owners have swapped out the battery and curious if anyone with the ZL1 has? Issues? Looks to be close to a 40lb savings with this battery: Shorai LFX36L3-BS12 Extreme Rate Lithium Iron Powersports.

Battery weighing in at 4.6lbs

Is the car street driven? Or 100% track duty? I’ve ran the small batteries in race cars and they are finiky. They always have to be on a tender. It’s not worth the hassel in my opinion.

i have changed out my MC battery for a shorai....love it....a year later, no problems......twice the CCA as the stock battery, stock yuasa batt is 9 lbs, the shorai is 1.5 lbs.

the only prob I see for the car is cost...still expensive.

Following for info. I'd like to find a battery that will save some weight but work for One Lap. I need it to start first thing every morning without a tender at all for the week - maybe seeing some cooler temperatures.

Yes, I've run a Braille Battery for "events" and yes they work, but I wouldn't depend on them for daily driving use.
