I am wondering if anyone has heard any new news if and when there is going to be a ZL1?

There were spy shots of what may be the ZL1 a while back. It will more than likely be a 2017 model year.

I saw those spy shots also but have not been hearing or seeing anymore info so was wondering if I missed anything. I sure hope they build one and it is in the 650ish HP range. It will be killer if that happens.

Yes. 650hp with a fast shifting A8 should be a killer 1/4 mile car. Would imagine it would gain a little weight. Probably in the 3800lb range.

Back on topic.... honestly if the zl1 doesnt have a 7xx hp rating it will not compete. The hellcats and the new gt500 are going to both have 700hp+ figures. And the only way that would happen if either the z06 gets a bump, a zr1 appears with 700hp+ or the camaro finally breaks the mold and has a powerplant that is more powerful than the one in the vette.

 I know this is NOT the ZL1. I couldn't resist though - How many times was this car the start of a "is this the 6th Gen?" or "The six Gen Camaro revealed". I nope Noob was also joking - cuz this car is
