I agree, but probably depends on how you define minimal. If you're not racing at higher speeds, you likely have nothing to worry about.

I have the stock exhaust with Legato mufflers, https://legatoperformance.com/collec...e-back-exhaust , $299.99. Nice sound on the loud side but I like the snap, crackle and pop. A little drone in 6th under 90 at WOT.

You're not the only one. While I do have NPP on mine (both for sound and visually the black painted bumper), a dealer a few counties over has tons of SS Camaros and only one or two have NPP, the rest are stock exhaust. I don't usually pay too much attention to what exhaust they have, but I do know there is a V6 6th Gen around here that also has NPP.

I do not have NPP either. It's not that I didn't want it, I loved the one I test drove. But I got such a good deal on mine, I could not pass it up.
