Spring Spacers for shipping

Are the ZL1 shipping with front spring spacers? Does anyone know if they have a part number?

Thank you

They do come with them. The dealers are supposed to remove them and put them in the glove box or trunk for the buyer if they are ever needed later. They have molded numbers on them that may be a part #. 84102427. Under that is BASF 1 on one and BASF 2 on the other. Then they both have >PUR< at the bottom. Hope that helps.

Added a pic of them

They raise the front so it doesn’t rub when going up or down a flatbed tow truck or auto trailer. Some vehicles like the Lamborghini have one built into the suspension called a front lift system. Very handy for driveways, trailers, etc.

Cool, how are you supposed to install that without jack?

you can’t...you must raise the car and insert when the spring is not compressed by the weight of the car

I am surprised that they did not include these electronic lift systems for the ZL1 or the Corvettes, could come in handy....everywhere...
