So, what are the updated numbers with Roto Fab and with / without headers?

I am considering bringing my car over to ADM, how long does the install take?

Does anyone get factual info by just getting on the phone or going in person to your local speed shops anymore? Almost every shop (and I spoke with 5 in person) recommended against Centrifugal on a mostly stock engine. ALL mentioned its considerably more maintenance and has far more problems. Shops dont mind them, its more $$$ extracted from the customer. they also spin up slower than a roots style. They will get you more boost power on a modified internals car - that was the consensus . As you can clearly see in another post, they also suck in hot engine air - not ideal.

Obsession with HP numbers is a sales gimmick ...theres only so much usable power..I mean c'mon - reality check- anything Frankensteined above 600HP just isnt a good DD for the 90% of us who didnt buy the car to race it 12 secs a month. My 700HP mustang GT was a TERRIBLE everyday driver - spent more time throttling it down rather than having fun with it - total waste, but good learning experience.

I just want a fast, low end torque, fun to drive car that I dont need to shop all the time and will have longevity.

Real tracking is done on curves anyways, anyone in the business will tell you that. Try running those 1000hp cars around a corner sometime.. its great blooper entertainment for the people watching. Best time I ever had was running slips on a curved course. I can run my straight line 10-12 sec times from red light to red light

Doing any 2017's yet. Also what headers do you use I have the Stainless Works Cat back set up already.
I have the roto-fab intake so I'll only need the elbow

So here is an interesting data point. Z06 baselined with the stock 1.7L PD, then the installation of an E-Force. Same car, same dyno.

http://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/...torsports.html

44 rwhp and 63 ft.-lbs. torque difference with the canned Edelbrock tune.

113 rwhp and 89 ft.-lbs. torque difference with headers, CAI and custom tune.

Final numbers, 645 rwhp and 654 ft.-lbs. torque.

Yea, it's not a perfect comparison, but a fairly good representation of what the two Eaton units can do.

Awesome numbers! Even with our prototype CAI design. As many of you know, our production version intake features a larger oval shaped filter and a larger air box!

Thanks for sharing,
Michael

You left out an extremely important piece of information. They used 3psi more boost with the Edelbrock than they did with the LT4. That is not an honest comparison between the blowers.

I'll be putting a TVS 2300 Maggie on my C7Z in December, I'll make sure to run the exact same peak boost level on my install so we can see if any difference exists between the blowers. My expectation is that the 2300 will make slightly less midrange power and hopefully slightly more peak. Then I'll crank the boost to it .

I have a 2014 corvette. Stingray. I am in the process of fitting a lt4 superchager to my lt1. And have hit only one snag. So far the adapter plates work. And all the parts are from a 2015 zo6. From gm. Pcv lines. Balancer. Pulleys. Everything. But my only problem is the superchager is hitting the pcv on my valley plate. What did you do to overcome this. My vett is dry sump .

I think you have to use the LT4 valley plate

Does the lt4 still use the afm. For the 4cyl mode.

Missed that, and somewhat surprised by it. The Z06 E-force kit is running almost double boost from what my E-force is running with about the same power output. Must be a different pulley on the Z06 kit verses mine; LT4 vs. LT1 differences.

Frankly, I am more focused on the dyno runs and how well the system responded to headers, CAI, and a tune. Seems like that is very worthwhile to do in the future. Having read carefully, I noted that the tuner stated that the E-force tune was comparable to the stock Z06 tune.

Yes. You also need to extend the port that goes into the bottom of the blower.
