Are you planning to have drag radials for the street too?

No DR's, at least for now and until I see how much of a beast it is. I only just put brand new R888R's on it.

You do have a good point, however. My power plans are in-part based on the tires I have. If I am cruising along at 50 and hammer it, it spins the tires (not shift chirping them). I am hoping that is not the case with the R888R's. If they stick(ish) then I will definitely up the boost for the street to 12psi (760whp - 900hp). I may wait to see your feedback before upping the boost. If you are at 815whp, that puts you at about 915HP (figure 11% loss for manual and 15% for auto). That is really sick! I am guessing that you will have the same experience I had on my M6 Vette when I had it running in the 800whp range...It's a fun 9 second car with a 12 second driver.

So I guess it is me then, at least for the time being.
It made 854whp & 791wtq.

Since yo have the A10, assuming you have a 15% drivetrain loss, you have cracked the 1000HP mark. First vert I have seen or heard of to do it. Running 92 octane and Meth right... That puts you right in the range with Shizzy. He's at 880whp (but not a vert)... Next we will have to get to the track to see if the dyno number matches the trap speeds. I was hoping you had a manual so I could whip you for sure. But since you have the A10...that makes me sad. I am getting the car to the weigh station too because my sled is the 2ss...I think it's way heavier than the coupe. Maybe 300lbs or so.

Lowside aux fuel pump and cam lobe.. stock LT4 everything else - straight 93 and meth, no E85, no race gas... yet! Bring it on man! It’s all good, hope you get to 900! It’ll give me more reason to take it back to Matt 🤣🤣 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Dyno numbers can get tricky...but the trap speed will never lie. I see dyno as a tool...and the 1/4 mile as the reality check. But, we can do the math we know what HP is needed to achieve a MPH and ET. As an example, a car that has 550whp and doesn't trap 128-130 isnt really running 550whp on the road (assuming 3700lb Camaro). Moral of the story, if your dyno says 850whp and you trap below 145mph, we know it's not really 850whp on the street. So, here's to my Hope's you have a dyno queen. Just kidding. You car is badass...

Matt wants to Dyno it again when the temps drop, should see a nice bump. In the meantime, maybe I will take it somewhere with a Dynojet and see if we can crack 900whp

Yup... your numbers will definitely be higher on a different dyno. We know Matt's dyno well. And once it cools off around here it will be even better. Only problem you guys will have on the track is getting kicked off for no cage. I do believe we have a rental coming up in Nov though... |

I am doing e85, but am trying to stay away from the alky injection. I know it adds a ton of headroom to advance timing. Anyway, I have smaller pulleys on the way so I am expecting to get into the 800's also. I wasn't talking about HP numbers being over inflated, I would be more interested in seeing if the power for a quick run on the dyno converts to the track where you are going through gears and IAT's get much hotter. In other words, a dyno shows an ideal situation, but on my previous build, my stinking P1SC showed great on the dyno, but when I went to the track it was pulling timing and not getting trap speeds you would expect...not because the dyno was wrong, but because the setup as I had it didn't allow me to stay in the powerband and because IAT's going through gears were too high. I had to make changes to the setup and with less dyno numbers I ran better times. In other words, it's a race to get into the 9's on a vert. :-)

Matt runs a Mustang dyno which, while not perfect, adds load to the car so it more closely simulates real world driving. A Dynojet however operates without load (only load is the weight of the drums) and so tends to read higher numbers as well as requiring more 'real world' road tuning.
