I checked mine, just cracking 2600 miles, they are torqued correctly thankfully. Odd thing to happen, thanks for posting so folks check!

Looks like it was torqued at one point. You can see the witness marks left in the tower from the anti rotation feature in the fastener.

Just called a friend who has a 2018 and his were all about 7 lbs. with that, mine and the others in this thread I recommend you guys check yours seems to not just me a one off!

New owner. Wondering how to check the torque.
Given the noted anti-rotation feature built into the bolt head, does that mean that you have to check the torque/tighten from the nut end of the connection in the at the top of the fender well? |

theres no nuts. they are bolts that screw into the strut
