Nice, that's a fast lap of Sebring for PS4S tires based on the other videos I have found!

Quick question for you and/or anyone else on here who has driven Sebring: is it bumpy enough to justify manually selecting Tour suspension mode for MRC instead of the default auto that picks Track suspension mode to match the main mode selector? I haven't seen that mentioned on any submissions here or in the description of any Camaro SS 1LE YouTube videos.

I'm asking because I have a trip coming up that includes HPDE at Sebring and want to use the best possible combination of modes for the track surface (which seems to be unusually bumpy from the info I can find) if anyone can chime in, plus it might be helpful to others in the future.

You are going to LOVE Sebring. It is such an awesome track. I didn't find it too bumpy for Track/PTM. I thought the car did just fine. The abs gets active in the bumpy braking zone for 7, but it seemed to handle it without issue. I find tour and sport too floppy for me. We have two tracks local to me that are much bumpier than Sebring and I still run the car in track mode/PTM. I think you'll be fine. But hey, try it and see!

On edit - I see you are local to me. I think MSRH and H2R are both bumpier than Sebring!

Thanks, that's reassuring! Congrats on the new SS 1LE! I have always run in track suspension mode at MSRH and H2R (post-repave) and the bumps are noticeable but not terrible although parts of H2R did get noticeably worse from last year to this year which made me consider trying touring suspension mode the next time I go back. I did get ice mode/hard pedal a few times (only this year) at both MSRH and H2R in bumpy braking zones so I will try to apply initial braking somewhat less aggressively going forward at those tracks and at Sebring. The more recent SS 1LEs are supposed to have a less intrusive ice mode calibration so hopefully you didn't experience ice mode/hard pedal. Pre-repave H2R was so bumpy that I never wanted to go back even with suspension in Tour mode!

Also here's my slightly improved lap of MSRH CW that I forgot to post from January. The timer/map overlay didn't work for some reason so I also attached a screenshot from Cosworth Toolbox showing the lap time after I loaded the track and a screenshot from Harry's Lap Timer with 10Hz GPS. I may be able to just get into the 1:42s on SC3s with an optimal lap but it will probably be towards the end of this year or early next year before I get another chance with ideal weather conditions. I tried for faster laps in the next two sessions on this day but couldn't manage to improve even though the temperature increased by less than 10°F during that time.

Track (which config if applicable) = MSR Houston - CW Config - Houston, TX
Elapsed Time (please include times to the hundredth if possible) = 1:43.82
Year / Model / Trim / Transmission = 2017 1SS 1LE 6MT
Date = 1/28/2022
Tires = OEM Goodyear Supercar 3
Mods = Track alignment with front strut mod (camber: -2.8° front, -1.4° rear, toe: 0° front, +0.05° rear per side [+0.10° total rear toe]), StopTech STR 600 DOT 4 brake fluid, stock brake pads, GM plastic track brake cooling deflectors, GM smaller metal track splash shields. Traction/stability control fully disabled, track mode with touring steering mode.

Congrats! You own the SS1LE record out there now. You dipped into the 1:42s on the SC3Rs didn't you? Too fast man. Too fast.

Catching up on all my local videos!

Anyway, this is titled wrong and in the wrong grouping.

Should be title EAST not WEST.

Tires = OEM Goodyear 3R
Mods = Hawk DTC 70 brake pads front and rear, bone stock otherwise

Just for fun, I entered the ZLE in Gridlife Time Attack last weekend. Unfortunately, a stock ZLE is in Track Mod. Unfortunately for my chances at a podium, there were some seriously well driven and seriously modified cars in that class. I ended up P5 overall (of 85 cars), but P4 in class LOL!

Funny thing, my 2:11.3 would have won the "Unlimited" class by .2 seconds! The car could have run a 2:10, maybe a 2:09... but traffic and a black flagged session meant I had to settle for an 11.3.
Sorry, no video.. the Gridlife Banner on the windshield covered up the PDR camera LOL.

My buddy and I attended a track day at Daytona road course, and we were tracking our bone stock ZL1 1LE. I’ve been impressed with the car so far, but the cars performance in stock form at Daytona was incredible. I had clicked off a 2:00.93, which I felt was a fairly fast lap time. My friend Gary Javo took the car after and clicked off a 1:59.83. He also had a passenger and the tires already have a track day or two on them. It’s hard to believe a stock car, with the only changes being the suggested GM track setup, is capable of turning a sub 2 minute time at Daytona. The car is just insanely impressive.

Unfortunately, the car flashed a "Low oil pressure, turn off engine" message at me later in the day but the car's still under the powertrain warranty and the dealer had it flatbedded to them at no charge.

Well it only took me over 2 years of being here to FINALLY attend a proper track day at the Nurburgring! These two were my best laps from the day, I "only" managed 17 laps on the day after losing some time at lunch due to a strange CEL that popped up a couple times (P0326 Knock Sensor?!?), but the day was a blast I ended up doing more laps with a passenger than without. Also I think I can now say I'm probably the only person on this forum that can say they have proper V-maxed their car on track haha that's what a 3km straight does for you!!!

This was my best BTG time on the day, comparing it to my other laps the full lap time would have been approximately 8:14-8:15 but I didn't have enough gas for another lap so had to dip into the pits :(

Track = Nürburgring Nordschleife - Bridge to Gantry
Elapsed Time = 7:48.80
Year / Model / Trim / Transmission = 2017 SS 1LE
Date = 04/19/22
Tires = 315/30/18 Nankang AR-1 on 18x10.5 Apex EC-7R wheels
Mods = ZL1 1LE front Aero & DSSVs, APR Wing, DTC 60 F&R, Castrol SRF, SW exhaust, Track alignment/Corner balance

This was my best full lap time, though it should have been at least 10-12 seconds quicker thanks to the two GT4s I caught near the end of the lap. Excuse my very angry reaction to the white car not moving over but that was already the second time he had blocked me and it was MUCH worse this time...

Track = Nürburgring Nordschleife - Full Lap
Elapsed Time = 8:19.01
Year / Model / Trim / Transmission = 2017 SS 1LE
Date = 04/19/22
Tires = 315/30/18 Nankang AR-1 on 18x10.5 Apex EC-7R wheels
Mods = ZL1 1LE front Aero & DSSVs, APR Wing, DTC 60 F&R, Castrol SRF, SW exhaust, Track alignment/Corner balance
