I paid $10,000 under MSRP for my car. 2LT, V6, auto and the best feature for the tall man, no sunroof. The best way to get a discount off one of these is to buy a car that's been sitting a bit. I bought my car in March 2017, it's a 2016 and had been on the lot for months.
It was nearly what I was looking for, so I bit. I later installed the RS headlights myself (with the help of a good friend). If you're looking for the absolute best deal on one of these, you need to find a couple that are close to what you want on nearby dealers lots. You can do this either by checking the dealer's websites or chevrolet.ca and bargaining them down. If they're really desperate to move a vehicle, the dealership will sometimes post reductions on their web site as well (YMMV). There are still a number of 2017 cars sitting around in the Toronto area, so there probably are wherever you are as well. |

Are all Toronto GTA GM dealers charging an "advertising" fee of close to $500. Seems "odd" to me......

Never heard of that one at a Ontario dealer. Down in the U.S. maybe.

That's actually illegal in Ontario. Omvic doesn't allow it. The only fee dealerships are legally allowed to include are Admin fee's and Etching if that dealership offers it.

Good point - and neither did i. They also tried selling me a tire safety package (or whatever it is called) for a few hundred bucks which basically includes tire warranty and nitrogen fill. But they took it off no problem.

I didn't buy it. It wasn't on my invoice. About 3 months after I got my car I had a nail in my runflat. Dealer said no worry, you have the tire warranty package. ??? O.k then. They paid the first $250. Thanks for the warranty I didn't buy.

I ordered a 2018 SS back in November of 2017. They gave me $4250 off the MSRP...But then again I chose extra features like a sunroof, magnetic ride, NPP, black emblems, automatic...etc.
