10% pulley mod question.

Thinking of doing a pulley mod. Have a Roto Fab intake and axel back exhaust.
Questions. Will this throw codes? How hard is it to do? What gains would I expect WITHOUT a tune. Thx in advance.

It actually might be possible. OP location says Colorado. At altitude cars run richer.

You’d need to get it on a dyno immediately following the install and see what your AFRs look like. They probably won’t be great and it probably won’t work, but it IS possible. Please post your altitude and your results.

I wouldn't try it. too expensive of a mistake to "try". But then again, I'm not much of a gambler.

Yes, don’t try it without a competent tuner checking your tune, and be prepared to either remove it or get the car tuned. I still believe it is possible that it could work at altitude but it also may not.

A tune is required when adding that type of power. The overdrive balancers are probably a bit easier to install then a blower pulley. On the blower pulley you need a special puller to get the stock one off and a press to get the new hub on. The balancer just requires a balancer removal tool which can be rented at autozone or somewhere similar.
