I think what he was eluding to was a removable bra… which is kinda what I thought you were speaking to as well. If you said clear bra or PPF, it would have been a bit more clear. I agree, PPF (self healing) is the best solution, albeit expensive.

Hmm, having never used removable it didn't occur to me. But yes, clear bra.

Sorry, I misunderstood you, indeed I was thinking about the likes of Novistretch, not PPF or "clear bra".

I have Xpel on the front and mirrors, which definitely helps a lot. However, I still had one or two small rocks penetrate that and go mess up the paint underneath, so I don't think anything can realistically provide 100% protection. Trying not to follow semis or bro dozers with no mudflaps also helps.

I can’t say for sure, but there is no reason they won’t work. From what I have seen, RPI seems to forget there are model years after 2019 on pretty much all of their product listings. I asked one of their people about it here once and got no response from them why whatever item it was wouldn’t work for 2020 onward. It may be petty of me, but that lack of care or response is enough to make me steer away from buying from them in general. YMMV.

Thanks for the replies. Will probably go with the ZL1 Addons.

Sure. I have them on my 2021. They fit just fine.

No matter which brand you choose to buy, take a careful look at the available pictures of the installed splash guards so you can compare how much they hang down (lower is better to block rocks) and how far to stick out laterally from the fender well (further is better if you want to block rocks). Some brands may look great, but they don't hang down very far or don't protrude laterally as far - kind of negates the point of installing them in the first place.

The problem I’ve had trying to look at photos is that each manufacturer uses photos taken from different angles, and it is impossible to make that comparison. The only thing I’ve been able to tell for sure is that they all provide more coverage than the OEM ones.

I have them on my Stinger. They are fine, the ZL1 Addons are fine, I wouldn't give either a real nudge. Very similar style. Fitment as far as the rubber do-hickeys is similar, although one side of the Stinger ones has a little more of a gap where it doesn't tighten down as much. Not a big deal and might happen with any of them, you can always try a different sized donut, but where you are screwing these into doesn't really deal with any torque, so you can't really tighten down a lot to squeeze them into place. Being pretty picky here, in reality, they are pretty much exactly the same and will vary more just due to the car, not the parts.

What rubber do-hickeys are you speaking to? Do these get screwed directly into the fender liner?

Whatever I buy will end up getting double sided tape at the metal edge. As well, and if possible, I’d reach behind the liner and insert some type of backer nut(s) so they can be torqued down properly. One and done for me..just want it to look and work as it should. For anything more than $50, you’d kinda hope that you could use existing screws / backing retainers w/ double sided tape already applied, like ZL1 Addons.

I haven't. Looking at those pics, I'd say they stick out laterally quite nicely, but they don't hang down toward the ground as far as the RPI Design ones that I have.

I have the same mudflaps as you, and my only gripe is that the rear ones only cover about half the width of the tire, which looks pretty nerf. These are apparently much wider, and their style is a better match for the car, hmm...

...but then, as you say, they don't extend down as far as ours, which may or may not matter with side skirts... decisions, decisions
